It's not every day that the show you're working on gets featured in the news! CBS news comes by to interview Erin and watch us rehearse! There's been lots of articles on the process, but being in the news feels so... I dunno, validating? The process hasn't always been smooth, but it has always been filled with humor.

Okay, this reviewer didn't like the show. But I'm putting this review up because he mentioned I played Freddie to the point of "couchlock movement" and I'm like "Is that a criticism...?" So I looked it up and I'm quite proud. Yes, Freddie is stoned. I've never done/smoked cannabis, so I'm quite proud I acted it. ^.^

Yay! I'm so happy that a small show like Sheherezade got a review! It definitely deserves one! And, in this case, it's also kind of a play-by-play... but I'll take it! Along with my "subtle physical suggestiveness, and clever straddling of the gender divide." Hehehe

Do you see that audience!?!? (There was even an overflow room that livestreamed the performance!) Nearly a THOUSAND UC Berkeley GSI's attended this conference that we got to be (and will hopefully continue to be) a part of! The script we used was Active Participation, written by me, in collaboration with the Teaching Conference's Berkeley Interactive Theater Committee. And those numbers...!! For this kinda of work, those numbers are honestly pretty darned good!

Side Note: Emilio is probably the most masculine character I have ever played. And this is probably one of the most fun scenes to rehearse!

We (Berkeley Interactive Theatre) were invited to Santa Monica College to help wrap up their Consent Month with our workshop of Get It Right (written by yours truly). This was the only time I've ever taken to plane trips in one day. One to fly to Santa Monica. One to fly back before the evening job started. Crazy.

This isn't even an article or a review. It's merely a schedule... showing that one time Berkeley Interactive Theater was the KEYNOTE in a NATIONAL CONFERENCE.

I mean, we've opened conferences before... but a NATIONAL CONFERENCE? I think that's pretty bad-ass, if I do say so myself.
